What do you think about the block quote in the “President of the University of California” subsection of UC President Mark Yudof’s Wikipedia page? Witty? An abusive manipulation of information? Good? Bad? Share your thoughts.

I’m just saying that although Yudof is the main person, he’s not the only one who is making things worse–Blum was a big part of it, most of the regents and the entire administration, really. Plus, it’s really easy to play the race card and call them racist because he’s white. I fail to see how he is racist. I think he’s kinda anti-student, as I feel most administrators are because often times their decisions or their speeches is more money over student. I’ve definitely experienced this on this campus, especially as a student leader.

Yudof hasn’t been there long enough to make things worse. He’s mopping up old messes. And racist??? Have you ever met the guy? And his “right hand man” for many years was a black woman.

I get really tired of hearing everyone blame administrators for problems the state caused over an extended period of time. We’d get a lot more done if we all focused on the real issues.

Although I understand your stance I can not definitely accept what you have suggested in this article.

Thank you for commenting. I’m sorry for the delay in posting– your comment went straight to spam for some reason.

My intention with posting that was not to suggest anything about the Wikipedia page, but to spark discussion about it. I can understand how my questions might come off as leading, however. I’ll have to work on that.
